At New Danville, we often say we are more than a program—we are a family. When one of our Wranglers passes, we all feel the loss. Earlier this year, we said goodbye to David Anthony, a beloved member of both our Day Program and our Meadowbrook community. David brought warmth, humor, and heart to the ranch, and his presence is deeply missed by friends, fellow Wranglers, and staff alike.

 In the midst of our grief, we were touched by a beautiful act of kindness. Teresa Baker made a generous donation to New Danville in loving memory of David. Her gift not only honors his life but also strengthens the community that meant so much to him.

 Memorial gifts like Teresa’s reflect something powerful: the belief that every life leaves an imprint, and that we can carry that legacy forward by supporting others. Her generosity will help provide meaningful programs, safe and independent living, enriching experiences, and compassionate support to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities—just as David experienced during his time here.
