New Danville is changing lives and we invite you to join us!

After years of living without hope or motivation, Lawrence, an adult with intellectual disabilities, needed a purpose in life. Each day, with nothing to do and nowhere to go, he felt unfulfilled and lacked any incentive to grow. He was deteriorating, both physically and emotionally. However, awesome and remarkable changes occurred when Lawrence started attending New Danville. Lawrence is happier, productive, and more social. He takes pride in knowing that he is contributing to the community. He has a part-time job at New Danville sweeping the buildings at the end of the day. This responsibility and earning a paycheck allow him to experience the sense of accomplishment, success and purpose that many of us take for granted. New Danville’s learning and social activities instill in him the confidence and determination to dream, grow and achieve the things he wants and needs—something that neither he nor his family previously dared hope for. Most importantly, he has built friendships and gained an extended family at New Danville. Lawrence’s life has been changed. Now his family feels “true peace of mind concerning his life and future” and considers New Danville “a prayer answered”. Please join us in changing lives with your investment in New Danville.

Founder, New Danville

We ask for your support to cover two important areas of New Danville. The first is to help with operating shortfall. Program fees cover about one fourth of the cost to operate New Danville. Our mission has been to offer a program of excellence at a reasonable rate. New Danville not only provides a sense of belonging, self-worth and accomplishment for all who attend the program but it also offers their families peace of mind knowing that their adult child or family member is in a safe, supportive and nurturing community. The second focus is to help us build a strong future and the next phase of our growth is our own town. Our vision is to be a master-planned community where adults with special needs can live on our property; can learn new skills and develop new abilities; can have productive work lives and a place where they can still grow spiritually in both mind and body. In our ten years we’ve made great strides toward this goal. But there is still much to do. With your help we can start laying the foundation for the next phase of our growth…building our town.

By supporting New Danville and its clients’ you are helping to secure our future and lives of our clients.
