New Danville will promote self esteem, reliability, and independence to adults with mental-challenges by providing daily job training and employment opportunities within the community, including:

• Food Services at the Tea Room, Soda Shop, Coffee Shop and Bakery
• food preparation, storeroom and inventory control, hostess and dining room, busing and dishwashing, catering, and prepared-food services
• Retail Services in boutique-style gift shops
• Storeroom and inventory control, front counter, gift wrap
• Office/Clerical
• Telephone/fax machine, receptionist, file room, internal delivery center, newsletter and other clerical projects
• Commercial Housekeeping Services
• Hotel guest services, floor and window cleaning, public restroom maintenance, plant watering, and trash pick-up
• Facilities Maintenance
• Building and vehicle maintenance includes storage control, light painting and repairs, scheduled maintenance checks, catering and banquet set up/tear down, street maintenance
• Landscaping and Grounds Maintenance
• Mowing, fertilizing, watering, planting and repairs, catering and banquet set up/tear down, street maintenance

In addition to providing opportunities within the community, New Danville will initiate job development by establishing partnerships with local businesses that need trained staff to meet their workforce needs.
