Chairman of the Board
Jim’s vast experience in people management includes operations, safety, training, human resources and labor relations. He has written and directed a number of labor / management appeals and arbitration cases before Special and Public Law Boards as well as the National Mediation Board Arbitrators. Jim has a BA in Organizational Management, an MS degree in Management, and a MA degree in Conflict Resolution and Reconciliation.
As an elected public official who understands the importance of bringing parties together in order to get things accomplished, he works with his constituents to resolve issues, and find resolution in both the private and public sectors.
Jim serves or has served on a number of board and committees including Sons of the American Revolution, the Montgomery County Fair Association, the Houston Livestock Show, State Officer of the Texas Jaycees, the United States Jaycees Senate, co-founder and past board Chairman/Member of Leadership Training for Christ organization, and as an Elder at Grace Crossing Community Church of Christ.
Kathy Turner Jones
Kathy Turner Jones is the General Manager of Lone Star Groundwater Conservation District. She oversees the day-to- day operations of this quasi government body, and reports to an appointed board of directors. New Danville’s water supplied is permitted by this entity. Ms. Jones is very knowledgeable with the governing regulations for Texas’ water supplies and TCEQ which New Danville must comply. She serves on the Governance Committee.
Reece Goodman joined the New Danville board in 2017 and serves on the Finance Committee. He is the managing partner of TechCXO, LLC in Texas. TechCXO, LLC is a consulting firm providing on demand executives to entrepreneurial firms that have need of professionals with C-suite experience without engaging them on a full time basis. Reece specializes in Finance and Operations. Reece works closely with New Danville’s accounting and finance department.
Reece and his wife, Leslie, reside in Montgomery. Reece serves on the Finance committee of his church.
Kathy Sanders founded New Danville in 2005. She served as its CEO and Vice-Chair of Operations. Prior to New Danville, she volunteered on boards and committees for numerous Montgomery County charities and service organizations including the American Heart Association, American Cancer Society, Humane Society of Montgomery County, Montgomery County United Way, and The Woodlands Chamber of Commerce. Kathy is an entrepreneur and has been described as a ‘builder;’ she successfully developed a food manufacturing business and founded Lone Star HCS, a state certified provider of services for disabled individuals.
Kathy is the mother of Jimmy, the inspiration for her to develop a community such as New Danville. Kathy and her husband Steve live in The Woodlands.

Christin Allphin joined the New Danville Board on September 1, 2018. Christin leads the Healthcare Commercial Banking Group and the Business Banking Team for Woodforest National Bank. With more than 14 years in the banking industry, she is responsible for leading a team of relationship managers in working with existing healthcare and business banking clients and building new client relationships.
Christin is an active participant in various charitable and civic organizations, which include being a board member for the Economic Development Partnership of The Woodlands, board member for The Montgomery County American Heart Association, Past Board VP of Finance for the Junior League of The Woodlands, Past Board Treasurer for Executive Women’s Alliance, member of Financial Women in Texas, and an active member of The Woodlands United Methodist Church. She is also a 2015 graduate of Leadership Montgomery County.
She is a graduate of Auburn University with a Bachelor of Business Administration.
Christin and her husband, Matthew, and their daughter, Mackenzie live in The Woodlands.
Mike Arnett, is the founder of a number of businesses in Texas. Doing What’s Right Construction Inc., a full service remodeling company; DWR Garage flooring LLC, a concrete coatings company; BBQ Grill People LLC, retail stores for grills and pellet grills; and Bathrooms Done Right LLC. Additionally Arnett partners with his daughter and her husband, Brooke and Terry Justice, in a home building business in La Vernia, Texas called Design Custom Homes LLC. Arnett along with his team of experts is considered in the top 150 remodeling companies in the nation.
Arnett and his wife, Diana, love traveling, boating and spending time with their 3 daughters and 4 grandchildren.
Mr. Bleyl has more than 30 years’ experience as a consulting engineer and has been at the helm of Bleyl Engineering since founding the firm 20 years ago. Under his leadership, Bleyl Engineering has expanded to five locations and is recognized as an established, respected engineering and project management provider to dozens of southeast and central Texas municipalities, public agencies, and private land developers. Under Mr. Bleyl’s vision, the firm planted its roots in Conroe, just as Montgomery County was on the verge of historic growth and development. He sets the tone for the high-level service and exceptional quality delivered by Bleyl employees to all the firm’s clients. His strategic leadership has fueled the company’s growth and prosperity.

Stephanne Davenport was elected in 2014 as the Montgomery County Treasurer. She has worked for Montgomery County in the Treasury Department for many years. Stephanne volunteers for many non-profit organizations in Montgomery County, and joined New Danville’s Board of Directors in 2014. She serves as the Chair of the Finance Committee.
She and her husband Marc and son reside in Conroe.
Michael L. Durham
Mike Durham is the General Counsel for Spirit of Texas Bank, headquartered in Conroe, Texas. Mike had a private practice in Houston for over 30 years. He served on the board of several non-profit organizations in the north Houston area and Tomball before relocating to Montgomery County and joining Spirit of Texas Bank in 2013. He joined New Danville’s board of directors in June 2015, and serves as the Chair of Fund Development.
He and his wife Andi reside in Montgomery, Texas.
Meagan Jamaluddin moved to The Woodlands 3 years ago when she married her husband, Shan, who is the COO of his family business, Epcon Industrial Systems. She most recently served for 2 years as the Director of Development at Interfaith of The Woodlands overseeing their special events and fundraising.
Prior to her time in The Woodlands, she worked in nonprofit development for over 10 years at several institutions in Dallas including The American Heart Association, The Hockaday School and Southern Methodist University’s Cox School of Business. She is a graduate of Baylor University and attends The Woodlands United Methodist Church.
Meagan enjoys supporting local area organizations as a volunteer and is currently assisting several organizations as an independent fundraising consultant.
Meagan, her husband, and their son live in the Woodlands.

Pat Riley is the Director of Public Works for the City of Willis. Pat has been in Montgomery County for 5 years but brings years of experience in public works. Pat joined New Danville’s board of directors in 2014. His knowledge of water wells and wastewater treatments plants has been a great asset to New Danville in planning for its future infrastructure and operational needs.
Pat and his wife, Robin, resides in Conroe, Texas.
Danielle Scheiner is Deputy Director of the Greater Conroe Economic Development Council. Danielle is the immediate past-chair of Montgomery County United Way. She joined New Danville’s board of directors in December 2014 as the vice-chair of Marketing. Danielle has two sons, one of which has been diagnosed with autism.
She and her family reside in Montgomery, Texas.
