About New Danville - Consortium of TNC Organizations

The consortium of not-for-profit 501(c)(3) charitable and educational organizations are collectively referred to as "Texas New Community" ("TNC"):

  1. Texas New Community Alliance ("TNCA") purchased 42 acres in north Montgomery County, Texas, and will partner with 501(c)(3) charitable organizations, businesses, and government to construct residential, commercial and ancillary buildings for the master-planned community.

    TNCA dba New Danville will administer the day-to-day operations by providing services to meet the daily needs of MR/RC adults including (1) day programs such as social skills training, continuing education, community outreach, job training and supported employment, (2) health clinic with nursing services, and counseling and therapy services, (3) rental housing which includes private bedroom and bath, efficient apartment or one-bedroom cottage for married couples, utilities, food, support staff as needed, life skills training, and transportation, (4) social and recreational activities, (5) case management, and (6) community outreach programs.
  2. Lone Star HCS, Inc. ("HCS"), a certified 'home and community-based services' provider, contracts with "DADS", the Texas Department of Aging and Disability Services, and provides HCS services including (a) case management, (b) day habilitation, (c) residential assistance, (d) nursing, (e) counseling and therapy, (f) dental, (g) minor home modifications and (h) adaptive aids services to individuals enrolled in Texas' Medicaid-waiver program.
  3. Texas New Community Foundation ("TNCF") will supervise the management of special needs trusts including a pooled trust and endowments established for the benefit of the community and its residents, and provide estate planning and education to families about guardianships and special needs trusts.
